Webarch Co-operative Limited Rules
Webarchitects is a Social Enterprise, no more than 20% of any profits may be distributed as dividends to members. We are also a co-operative, see our full rules, which are based on the 7 Co-operative Principals, which include this key aim:
To enable the provision of internet based services for socially responsible groups and individuals, using free open source software wherever possible, in a manner that aims to minimise fossil fuel usage and ecological impacts and which also provides sustainable employment
Webarch Co-operative Limited was established as a Multistakeholder Co-operative (Somerset Rules) Registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1965-1978 in July 2011, see our entry in the FSA Mutuals Public Register.
Our co-operative are three categories of membership:
- Workers
- Clients and Partners
- Investors
The ability for clients and partners to have a say in the running of the organisation results in good working relationships and strong partnerships and helps to ensure the co-operative stays true to its aims.
We always try our best to make decisions by consensus.
There is more information about our co-operative on the about Webarchitects page, see also our ethical and privacy policies.
